DA friends: I'm officially screwed...

Attention DA friends: I'll be losing the electricity in my apartment in a few days, due to not being able to pay the bill for months. That means no internet access for who the heck knows how long. Besides the utter frustration and immense stress that already puts on me, something even worse happened today when I showed up for work...

...My boss proved how much of a dick and a heartless bastard he is, by REDUCING my already way-too-frikkin tiny hours to even less. NO ONE could ever live off of 10 hours a week, paid minimum wage!!!!!

*momentarily erupts into a giant storm of shouting cusswords*

So... I'll be working my poor ass off looking for a new job, which truly sucks since I haven't been feeling well lately, and most certainly will have a horrid time of doing that/keeping in touch with friends once my electricity gets cut off (and if anyone mentions getting hold of a group that gives financial aid for paying the electric, forget it - my dad tried more than one and they turned him down, mentioning some BS about not getting enough funding, etc.).

That really does suck hun, Sorry to hear all this.
I can REALLY feel the frustration of this all too..
There's been lots of times electricity gets cut and my family already has a lot of bullshitted problems at it is. Mainly with my fathers gambling problem.

Ugh, make sure to pull out all the candals and blankets hun, It's getting cold out here and we all dont want you getting sick ;__;
Trust me I know, I was sick for two weeks and missed A LOT of school.
please, I know things are rough right now, but please dont forget to take care of yourself. THATS the most important thing first. <33

That really sucks. I am very sorry you are having such a rough time of things.

We found out a couple of weeks ago the library has free WIFI if you have a laptop. I don't know if that will help you or not, but I thought I might mention it since we are very grateful to know about it. We lost our internet for a few days last month and tried going to Starbucks. They charge you for their WIFI. Wish I would have known about the library then.

Sadly, I don't own a laptop (well, technically I do, but it's a piece of old junk that is totally useless since it lacks a battery recharger and has no WiFi capability).

Thanks for the info, though. Maybe my dad could convince a friend of his to let us borrow their laptop once our power goes kaputski.

I'm used to using lots of blankets and stuff, mainly because me and my family very rarely turn the heat on during the winter (to save money, etc.). And unfortunately, I've been a bit sick as of recent, so that's just been adding to the mess in a most unpleasant way. >_<

Sure hope things get better (and hopefully this week).
